Are their targeted foods and supplements to offset a weakened immune system due to chemo? I’ve begun to get rashes just smelling poison oak. I can smell dust and toxins in paper! My ststem is very sensitive now.i was allergic to a few things as a child. Im eating all that youve suggested here..fruits, veg with every meal, tea, bone broth soup, seeds. nuts and still I came down with an allergy.Any suggestions?

My husband is on a radical remission diet for his laryngeal throat cancer and cannot have dairy, red meat or any sugar…fruit has natural sugar. What can we do in this case for things (most: no sugar, salt, dairy, meat, etc.) and survive without being so bored with the same old safe diets and the many, many other diets available???

I have been on a Vegan diet for several years and lately my hands have started to tremble …The Doctor says my vitamin B level is Low but I’m not to sure it’s not a lack of Protien in my diet …Would it be a good idea to add Protien to my diet also. Thanks for your help

Roy, vitamin B12 deficiency is very common among vegans. It may be helpful to try a B-complex vitamin. You can read an article on B12 deficiency here: https://draxe.com/nutrition/vitamin-b12-benefits/.

If you’re not sure you’re getting enough protein, you can find out here: https://draxe.com/nutrition/protein-deficiency/. This article also has a list of the highest sources of protein for vegans. I hope this helps! Blessings.

Hi! I don’t have access to the whey protein powder and am paranoid about salmonella, do you have a different item I could put in instead of eggs?

    Hi Dr Axe,
I prepared this smoothie yesterday for breakfast. I used Plain Kefir ( 1 glass) instead of Coconut milk and also added 1 tbsp Chia seeds to the smoothie. It tasted great and I can drink this everyday for my breakfast. But after consuming this smoothie with in 1 hour I started feeling hungry and really wanted to eat something more. How ever I controlled my urge. I am not sure what I am doing wrong here.

Do you have a smoothie that is good for you but replaces my addiction of Mocha Frappe’s (McDonald’s). I am struggling with this addiction badly!! It’s expensive and bad for me! But the taste is what I crave and the texture and temperature (cold). Please help! thank you in advance….
