Snowballs recipe - Dr. Axe

Instead of giving your kids candy or treats that are high in processed sugar, give them snowballs! This recipe is easy, healthy and great for kids (or adults!)

 

Snowballs Recipe

Total Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 12

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sprouted almond butter
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • sea salt, to taste
  • ½ cup coconut flakes

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except coconut flakes in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
  2. Form into balls and roll in coconut flakes.
  3. Refrigerate to harden and serve cold.
