While store-bought versions are packed with weird ingredients, preparing frosting at home means you can use all types of creative ingredients, like the avocados in my Spiced Coconut Chocolate Frosting. Hear me out!
Ingredients

- 2 avocados
- 1 cup raw honey (or maple syrup)
- ¼ cup coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor.
- Blend until smooth.
Notes
This healthy homemade frosting is perfect on my gluten-free chocolate cake, but with so many good-for-you ingredients in it, I say grab a spoon and enjoy solo!
