Raw Vegan Pasta Sauce
- 4 cups sundried tomatoes
- 5 cups Roma tomatoes
- ⅔ cup basil
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
- sea salt to taste
Cooked Vegan Pasta Sauce
- same as above
- ½ onion, chopped
- olive oil for pot
Instructions
- In a food processor, process all the ingredients, except for the sun-dried tomatoes. Gradually add in sun-dried tomatoes until a thick, smooth paste is formed.
- For the cooked version, sauté the onion in a pot in olive oil for a few minutes at medium heat.
- Add the raw tomato sauce mixture, stir well, cover and cook for 30 minutes at low heat.
- Serve over pasta, even zoodles, or use as a dip with our garlic breadsticks.
