Description

This cranberry sauce recipe with pecans can be a delicious side or dessert. It pairs beautifully with turkey or chicken.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cranberries
  • ½ cup organic apple juice
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated orange rind
  • ½ cup pecans (or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Combine cranberries, apple juice, maple syrup and cinnamon in a sauce pan and simmer for 5 minutes or until most berries pop.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in grated orange rind and pecans.
  3. Cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator.
  4. Serve chilled.
