Description

A common ingredient in hummus is tahini, a flavorful condiment made from ground sesame seeds. It also works as the star ingredient in this salad dressing, especially when prepared with a few other select ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • zest and juice of 1 large orange, combined
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder or granules
  • ½ teaspoon coriander
  • ⅛ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the first 6 ingredients together until smooth. Stir in the cilantro.
  2. Store the dressing in a sealed bottle or jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Before use, allow the dressing to come to room temperature so the coconut oil liquefies.
