Your Body Is Aging Unevenly

Mainstream medicine is largely looking at organs and systems. Really what it is is actual cellular dysfunction that's going on here. It's insulin and it's cortisol. And if you can fix those two hormones, every other hormone would go back to where it should be. I found that I had a high Lp(a), I found plaque, and I was supposed to be the epitome of walking health. My dad had a heart attack when he was 59. I didn't see that coming. The amount that your insulin spikes from less than six hours of sleep is just wild. Sleep is not a luxury. It's a mandate on our health. It's a non-negotiable if you want to live long and thrive. I used to kind of live by this all gas, no brakes, never rest. You think that you're training and doing all of these things that are so great and macho and everything else, and you're just the epitome of poor health. Just because you hear about it on a podcast or read it in a book doesn't mean that you have to do all the things. Yes. It's always confusion. People going, "Well, what can I even do? What can I even eat?" We're creating a bigger problem. We're literally creating stress when we do that. We have such a hubris and arrogance today because we need a randomized control trial. But now the great thing is that the randomized control trials are substantiating what God always said. Surprise, right? God knew what he was talking about. If I have a patient and they start seeing some results, but then they just hit this plateau, there's a childhood trauma that's just never been dealt with, and that's just continually on replay. "I'm not smart, I'm not pretty, I'm not pursued, I'm not loved." People that are still against people in functional medicine, they're on the wrong side of history because the data speaks for itself. So people are still like it's us versus them. This is not radical. Getting people healthy should not be offensive. If it is, look at your heart.
