That’s right: If you’ve shelved your crockpot for winter- or dinner-only use, it’s time to dust it off. Making breakfast in the crockpot ensures a nutritious meal any day of the week with minimal involvement — and did I mention crockpot breakfast recipes are delicious?

2. Banana and Coconut Milk Steel-Cut Oatmeal

Wake up to a hearty, fiber-rich crockpot breakfast that’s got a ton of staying power with this delicious recipe. Heart-healthy coconut milk, omega-3 packed flaxseed and energy-boosting bananas cook overnight so you can wake up to a meal that’ll keep you full through the morning.

This is a great recipe to use overripe bananas for. Save the banana bread for another time.
