Isaac Eliaz, MD, MS, LAc has been a recognized expert in the field of integrative medicine since the early 1980s, with a specific focus on cancer, immune health, detoxification and mind-body medicine. He is a respected formulator, clinician, researcher, author and educator. As part of his commitment to the advancement of integrative medicine, Dr. Eliaz partners with leading research institutes and has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed papers on innovative therapies for immune enhancement, heavy metal toxicity and cancer prevention and treatment. He is founder and medical director of Amitabha Medical Clinic and Healing Center in Santa Rosa, CA, where he and his team of practitioners pioneer individualized
treatments for cancer and chronic illness.

Education

As a native of Israel, Dr. Eliaz lived in the Far East and in Latin America before returning to study at Tel Aviv University. From very early on, Dr. Eliaz has pursued the study of multiple medical and healing modalities, with a comprehensive, holistic and integrative model in mind.

After graduating medical school in 1986, Dr. Eliaz began a successful clinical practice in Tel Aviv, using his training in both Western and Eastern medicine. Simultaneously, Dr. Eliaz pursued graduate studies in clinical herbology at Hebrew University of Jerusalem and classical Chinese medicine with teachers in Israel and Europe.

In 1989, Dr. Eliaz moved to the San Francisco Bay area to continue his studies at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There, he earned a Master of Science degree in 1991.
