Avocado, the star of the show here, is one of the best ingredients for a homemade face mask because it’s so rich in beneficial fatty acids. Thanks to these healthy fats, avocado face mask benefits typically include a decrease in dryness, redness and/or irritation. Is an avocado face mask good for acne? Yes, it’s anti-inflammatory fat content can really help to calm breakouts.

Avocados are also loaded with skin boosting antioxidants like vitamin C and vitamin E. Both vitamin C and E are commonly used topically to reduce dark spots so this is a great avocado face mask for dark spots or age spots as well.

This is an avocado honey face mask so after avocado, honey is the next heavy hitter in the lineup. Not only is honey an excellent natural moisturizer, it’s also antibacterial and has even been shown to speed up wound healing. It’s an especially perfect ingredient if you’re looking to improve current acne breakouts or prevent new ones.

How to Make an Avocado Face Mask

This avocado and honey face mask is so simple to make! Once you have your fresh avocado mashed up, you simply combine all of the ingredients together.

In addition to avocado and honey (raw honey is a great choice), you’ll also be adding in probiotic-rich kefir and moisturizing olive oil, which is another great source of antioxidants in this homemade face mask.

You can also easily turn this into an avocado and oatmeal face mask by adding a tablespoon of coarsely ground oats. Oats are rich in a substance called beta-glucan, which make an avocado oatmeal face mask even more hydrating, anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and soothing.

This avocado face mask recipe is best used immediately because just like that delicious guacamole left out too long, this mask will become a less pretty shade of brown if you let it sit.

I suffer from severe cracked or split fingertips during the winter. They are extremely painful and the only thing I’ve found that helps is super gluing my cracked fingertips back together. Is there any natural or OTC “miracle” cream I can use to cure or prevent this from happening?

My son gets acne a lot. How often can he use the mask treatment? And how soon could we see improvement? He has a skin type like his father which is on the oily side.

Thank you, I will try this tonight. I have an acne problem and I was advised to take digestive enzymes and betaine hcl with pepsin. I didn’t understand if it is enough to take one of these or both supplements. Could you please advise?

I would focus on eating foods like organic proteins, vegetables and healthy fats. I would eliminate grains and sugar from your diet. I would also start following the protocols listed here: https://draxe.com/health/how-to-reverse-diabetes-naturally-in-30-days-or-less/

I would start following the healing diet to help promote a decrease in inflammation
      https://draxe.com/nutrition/healing-diet/
I would also search for a maximized living chiropractor in your area and go see them as soon as you can:

Husband goes to a Maximized Living doctor and therapy (he put hours into therapy on his back and significantly improved with no shots or recommended surgery) which have helped his back and hip. He eats clean/healing foods. He has a ruptured disc and needs a new hip. Just went to the Cenreno-Schultz clinic, Regenexx in Brookfield CO at the end of Dec. They do stem cell and blood platelet procedures to help heal your body naturally and not with medication or surgery. Do some research in it. They promote similar eating and lifestyle living as Maximized Living
