This sounds wonderful! Can you please clarify if this is a cold or hot soup? Blend to smooth sounds like it may be a cold soup(?). Thank you and can’t wait to try it!

Love all the info. My question is in reference to consuming coconut oil which I know has a lot of good benefits but it’s solid at room temperature like margarine or like lard?I’m using MCT oil in liquid form. from Palm fruit. I Love coconut milk, and eating it fresh.

Looks delish! Especially with Spring on the horizon and we move from heavier foods to lighter, cooler selections. I really love your posted recipes but I am watching my macro nutrients per meal, could you please provide a calorie-nutrient (calories+fat+protein+carb) breakdown per serving on your posts? That would be super helpful! Thank you again for promoting good health.

I just made this recipe in my Nutribullet, and it worked great!
And it was amazingly good! I feel like I’m coming down with
something so I added a clove of garlic for added benefit.
I can see this will be my “go to” when feeling under the weather,
maybe adding more cayenne to help “sweat it out”.

Thank you Dr Axe for your wonderful recipes!

This soup sounds great. I follow the AIP diet. Are there other spices you would recommend for additional flavor in place of the chili and cayenne pepper? Thanks for all your posts!

Hi Dorothy. In reading comments I came across yours and I too had very similar issue. I started taking 500 mg. Magnesium daily. I hear that as women get older they need more of this. After a but a week I was regular daily! I even had to break what I had in half to cut dose down because it worked “too well”! I have no idea if there might be medical reasons NOT to take magnesium…..but it has been a blessing to me.

I wiz up my smoothies with a Vitamix. I’ve read many say this is not as good for you as juicing. I can’t see the sense of discarding all that healthy fiber after juicing. What is your opinion, Doc?

I want to start eating clean but without losing the weight. I’m currently at a comfortable weight and do not like the way weight loss looks on me. How can I go about doing that?

I substituted unsweetened coconut milk for water and omitted the olive oil.

This looks amazing!! Just a thought, though…your steps/ingredients in the video are congruent with the recipe, but in the end it looks oh so delicious and filling as you pour the entire blender into one bowl serving. You have listed that the recipe serves 4? That’s where I get lost.

Hi. Any idea of the approximate calories? Also would you have a detox for adrenals and pancreas? Thank you for all the education and all the work you do.

I see this has been out there for a while and comments are at least a year old. Well I’ll still give this a shot. My question is why the peeling and de-seeding of the cucumber? I read conflicting things about this topic but I’ve always just eaten them organic and raw, including seeds and skin. Please let me know if this is not a good idea and why. Thanks.

Hello Melissa, this recipe is made with real foods so you should be fine to consume multiple times a week. However, I suggest you work with your physician to make sure your health needs are being met.
