  • 1 pound grass-fed ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup sweet & tangy BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt


  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine oil and onions. Saute until translucent (2-3 mins).
  2. Add ground beef and brown. About 8-10 minutes.
  3. Add tomato sauce, BBQ sauce and sea salt. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Serve on sprouted grain or grainless bread/buns.

    We made these tonight and they were fantastic! loved the BBQ sauce to accompany the recipe as well…served them with green beans tossed with garlic/olive oil and then sweet potato biscuits (made with coconut flour and 3 ingredients)….posted a photo to my Twitter and Instagram accounts to rave about it!
