Hmmmmmm! I must try these!!
I feel like the best gluten-free pancakes wouldn’t include processed corn or whey powder. Also, the post about these being the “best” on facebook sort of sparked my competitive streak. Please try my recipe and tell me if you still think these are the best! :)
I am allergic to eggs. Can you suggest a substitute for the eggs?
Try using this: 1 tbsp chia seeds soaked in 3 tbsp of water = 1 egg
What can you sub for coconut oil and coco nut milk i cant have either
almond milk and grassfed butter
Pancake flour is GF?
Depends on the flour you use
What if we’re all grain free?
You could try using almond flour
Corn is a grain…..
one suggestion is to use Pamela’s brand pancake mix. It is corn free and wheat free. It’s made primarily from rice flour, almond meal, and potato starch
I notice that Bob’s Red Mill pancake mix listed here in this recipe contains corn starch and corn flour. Is that really a good idea and how do you know if it is GMO corn or not?
To be entirely sure, it would have to say non GMO or organic on the label. I’ll look into this.
I thought the same thing!
These pancakes are amazing. Sometimes I make up a few, put extras in the fridge, and warm one up for dessert later in the week. Seriously, they are good anytime! Helps with that occasional desire for something sweet; love ’em!
